Race conditions were perfect for the inaugural Hoi An Vietnam International Triathlon on 11 August 2007. August is usually a hot month for central Vietnam, but the triathletes were blessed with overcast weather and no rain (the week before, the organisers faced flooded roads due to an early monsoon storm).Read More!

"It was, hands down, the best organized and most dynamic sporting event I have ever attended. Top marks to the team and now I see what all the fuss is about - it was my first triathlon but certainly not my last. From the pre-race briefings, safety information, refreshment arrangements, course layout, on-site instructions, post race meal and general spirit of camaraderie - the whole lot was meticulously arranged and the ease with which you all seem to pull it off belies the months of hard work that goes into it.
