Tribob Overseas Adventures
Each year, we organize
a variety of training camps in different countries with the purpose of
providing you with hard training combined with the discovery of
a new country. Anyone is welcome on these trips, and you do not need to
be an elite triathlete, or even a serious triathlete. On most of our
camps we now offer three different training programs catering to
beginners (White Group), intermediate-level athletes (Red Group) and
serious age-grouper triathetes (Black Group).
Join us on the steep climbs
of northern Bali, the deserted roads of Malaysia, the clear sea of Phuket:

Camps focus
The duration
may vary from a week-end to 5+ days, but all camps have in common an
intensive training program designed to boost your fitness in a short
period of time. Most camps
cover all three disciplines of triathlon (swimming,
running and cycling) with emphasis on:
(1) Long Bike
Rides - Perhaps the hardest to
accomplish in busy Singapore or Hong Kong.
We pack a lot of cycling into a few days, actively seeking out hilly,
beautiful locations so that your training is of maximum benefit and
interest.
(2) Brick Sessions
- Running up to one hour, directly after cycling. This is easier to do as a team when there are others to push and motivate you.
(3) Open-water Swims
- A 2km
open water swim is more fun with
others, significantly safer with boat
backup, and rather more pleasant in the clear waters off Phuket/Bali/Bintan!
(4) relax
- After a days
training, enjoy a
massage and chat over a beer with training partners.
Group structure and level
The camps
bring together 10-30 athletes split into groups of different levels. The
coach-to-athlete ratio is usually 1 to 10. Each trip is
different in terms of the fitness level required, see each camp for
details.
For all camps,
our standard booking procedure and cancellation policy applies.
